Martini House.

Named according to the family coat of arms inscribed in the stone portal with the date 1707, the house is a simple Early Baroque structure standing on Gothic foundations. In 1755, the property was acquired by the town postmaster Georg Widtmann who relocated the town post office to the house. The post office had been in operation until 1877. The interiors were renovated by builder W. Prachensky in 1833.

A prominent Baroque structure with the preserved remnants of an older building dating back to the middle of the 15th century, with steep roof rhythmically arranged with four rows of dormers. The frontage of the building is highlighted with delicately profiled stone window frames with side fringes. A stone, armorial cartouche of the Martini family that is dated 1707 stands above the mighty portal. The engraved, half-timbered dormer with door in the floor, elevator winch and wrench in the attic was used to hoist goods up to the storage areas of the four-floor attic space. The Cheb post office was moved to this building in 1755 and remained here for almost 130 years.

Accessible to the public only during operating hours of the businesses residing here.
